Via Ycrop comes news of the C.A.S.E. Museum of Contemporary Russian Art over in Jersey City (80 Grand Street). Through 26 February, the museum is hosting an exhibit entitled "Unknown Russia."
C.A.S.E. stands for the Committee for the Absorption of Soviet Emigrees. The organization is a multi-faceted agency providing housing and other social services for Eastern European immigrants.
To get to the museum from Manhattan, take the Path train to Grove Street from 33rd Street/Broadway, or to Exchange Place from the World Trade Center. The museum is open during normal business hours, Tuesday through Sunday. For more information, call 201-332-5200.
